BENEFITS COLD LASER TREATMENT FOR DIABETIC WOUND CARE
Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is a medical procedure used to treat pain and speed up wound healing. This treatment uses low-level lasers to alter the healing process at a cellular level. While it is not exactly clear how low-level laser therapy works, it is thought to diminish inflammation by reducing the number of cellular chemicals and enzymes linked to pain and inflammation. Another mechanism may be related to the stimulation of the cells to increase the production of certain enzymes which affect cell proliferation or cell division, thus increasing the healing speed of a wound. The effects of low-level laser therapy appear to be linked to the specific wavelength of the laser treatment itself. The ideal wavelength, or dosage, duration and location of treatment is specific to each ailment and wound.
The ulcer treatment in the diabetic foot requires a multidisciplinary approach, including revascularization and surgical procedures, as well as the infection treatment, physiotherapeutic rehabilitation with electric phototherapeutic resources to control edema, pain, metabolic disorders, tissue malnutrition, co morbidities, precise treatment of the wound and biomechanics' decompression. Therefore, the specialized attention to the ulcers should be available to all patients as well as a priority in the amputation prevention .

What is Physiotherapy ?
Physiotherapy can be defined as a treatment method that focuses on the science of movement and helps people to restore, maintain and maximize the physical strength, function, motion and overall well-being by addressing the underlying physical issues. The physiotherapy treatment includes Electro modalities (Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS), etc), Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation (LASER), manual technique, stretching exercise, strengthening exercise, ambulation, gait training, posture correction, mobilization exercise, Patient education and Home exercise Program.
We are applying the concept of “modern evidence-based medicine” as a guideline to ensure the quality of our treatment especially for common ‘Musculoskeletal’ cases such as neck pain, back pain and knee pain. Moreover, we are also dealing with case such as stroke, hemiplegic, meningitis, motor neuron disease, major head trauma, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, paralysis, Parkinson Disease, and poliomyelitis in second complication stage. The uniqueness of our programs is the ability to help patient to restore their normal function such as posture alignment, co-ordination, balance, improving range of motion and muscle strength and endurance which are mainly causes by prolonged musculoskeletal conditions.
The effectiveness of LASER have been approved by US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and being used for more than 30 years to reducing the pain and did not have any dangerous side effect. Laser Therapy or Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a non invasive procedure that can penetrate deep into the tissue. Thus, it can reduce the pain and help in the process of repair and healing. The condition can be treated with LASER such as Foot Ulcer, Arthritis, Tendinopathy, Myorelaxation, Edema and etc.
